Signs of life abound in this oak dominated canyon that features a seasonal creek running through it. Ravens, deer, coyotes, and even mountain lions make appearances here. This oak tree is an “acorn granary” for woodpeckers. The granary is a community resource, and the trees chosen vary from year to year, as the birds abandon previously usedĀ granaries and sometimes make new.
